Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing
Your journey begins as we pick you up from Srinagar Airport and escort you to your accommodation. After settling in, embark on a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, experiencing the floating markets and houseboats. Explore the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their stunning Persian-style landscaping. Conclude your day with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
Day 2: Explore the Winter Wonderland of Gulmarg
On the second day, we take you to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers." Enjoy its lush meadows, snow-capped peaks, and adventure sports like skiing (in winter) or pony rides. Experience the thrill of Asia’s highest cable car ride, the Gulmarg Gondola, which takes you to Apharwat Peak for mesmerizing views. Visit Maharani Temple and St. Mary’s Church before returning to Srinagar for the night.
Day 3: Sonamarg & Holy Cave (Amarnath Yatra)
Day three is dedicated to Sonamarg, the "Meadow of Gold." Known for its glaciers and alpine scenery, Sonamarg is a paradise for nature lovers. Travel to Baltal, the shortest route to Amarnath Holy Cave. Take a helicopter ride to Panchtarni, followed by a 6 km trek to the Holy Cave for darshan. After your spiritual visit, return to Baltal and proceed back to Sonamarg. If time permits, visit Thajiwas Glacier for breathtaking views. Return to Srinagar by evening for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Pahalgam – The Valley of Shepherds
On day four, we take you to Pahalgam, a breathtaking valley known for its lush greenery, Lidder River, and charming villages. Visit Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie Betaab, and Aru Valley, a scenic spot for nature walks and photography. Experience Baisaran Valley, often called Mini Switzerland, where you can enjoy pony rides and stunning landscapes. After a day of exploration, return to Srinagar for a restful night.
Day 5: Shopping in Srinagar & Departure
On your final day, explore Srinagar’s vibrant markets, where you can shop for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, saffron, and dry fruits. After shopping and sightseeing, we will drop you off at Srinagar Airport, marking the end of your memorable trip.
